IELTS Writing 有四個評分項，各佔 25%。Task Response（Task 1 叫 Task Achievement）排第一——它衡量你「有沒有完整回答題目」。

很多台灣考生卡 6.5 不是文法問題，是 Task Response 問題。這篇把官方描述翻譯成可以對照的清單。

官方描述 vs 白話翻譯

最關鍵的跳躍：Band 6 → Band 7 = 「addresses all parts」。漏一個 sub-question = 自動上限 6.5。

Task 2 自我檢查清單

寫之前（2 分鐘）

  • [ ] 圈出題目裡所有的問句 / 指令動詞（Discuss / Do you agree / Why / What can be done）
  • [ ] 每一個都要在 essay 裡有對應段落
  • [ ] 判對題型？（Opinion / Discussion / Adv-Dis / Problem-Solution / Direct Question）

寫完之後（1 分鐘）

  • [ ] Intro 有明確 thesis（讀者知道我站哪邊）
  • [ ] 結論呼應 intro（沒有突然冒出新觀點）
  • [ ] 每段有 topic sentence + 至少一個具體 example

三個常見災難

災難 1：寫成另一個題型

Prompt: Some people believe X. Others believe Y. Discuss both views.

很多考生只討論自己同意的那邊——那是 Opinion essay 的寫法。Discussion 題目必須兩邊都展開，否則 Task Response 卡 6.0。

災難 2：漏掉題目第二問

Prompt: What problems does this cause, and what can governments do to address them?

這是兩問：(1) 問題、(2) 解方。寫了 200 字的問題、50 字的解方 = 不平衡。兩問各 100-130 字才平衡。

災難 3：立場前後不一

§1 說 I strongly agree，§3 突然冒出 However, this approach has serious flaws——讓 examiner 不知道你站哪邊。立場可以承認反方，但結論一定要回到原點。

Task 1 Academic 的 Task Achievement

Task 1 不是「立場一致」——是「有沒有抓到主要特徵」。

自動扣分的兩個錯誤：

  1. 沒有 overview 句——大部分考生忘掉這一句。
  2. 加個人意見——I think the increase was caused by...。Task 1 是 report，不是 essay。

對比範例：同一題目，Band 6 vs Band 7

題目：Some people think social media has made people less sociable in real life. Do you agree or disagree?

Band 6 開頭（Task Response 6）

Many people use social media every day. I think social media has many advantages but also has some disadvantages. In this essay I will discuss this topic.

問題：沒有明確立場（agree? disagree?）。"Discuss this topic" 是廢話——examiner 知道你要 discuss。Task Response = 6。

Band 7 開頭（Task Response 7）

The claim that social media has eroded face-to-face sociability is increasingly common, particularly in discussions of younger generations. I largely agree with this view, as the evidence suggests that heavy users do exhibit weaker offline social skills, although the relationship is more nuanced than critics often acknowledge.

好在哪：明確立場（largely agree）+ 預告會承認複雜度（more nuanced）+ 沒有空話。Task Response = 7。

怎麼自我練習

方法 1：題目拆解練習（5 分鐘）

每天找一個 Task 2 題目，只做拆解，不寫 essay：

  1. 圈關鍵詞
  2. 判題型
  3. 寫 thesis 句（30 字內）
  4. 列三個 body paragraph 的 topic sentence

兩週後你會發現「判錯題型」的機率降到 0。

方法 2：自評對照表

每寫完一篇 essay，用上面的「Task 2 自我檢查清單」逐項打勾。如果有任一項不勾——重寫那段。寫得多沒用，寫得對才有用。
