- Communication skills play a crucial role in modern workplaces.
- The next 24 hours will be crucial for the patient's recovery.
- Sleep is crucial for memory consolidation — without it, learning suffers.
- It is crucial that governments act now to address climate change.
- Reading widely is important, but practising writing is crucial for IELTS success.

Brushing your teeth is crucial. ← 過頭(important 就好) Oxygen is crucial for survival.
另一個錯——it is crucial that + 子句 的時態:
It is crucial that she goes there. It is crucial that she go there.
Band 7
- vital——Sleep is vital for cognitive function.
- essential——Practice is essential to mastering a language.
Drinking water is ___ for survival. (crucial / vital / essential 都對,因為真的少了會死) Time management is ___ for students.
