一句話用法：寫「推行政策、執行計畫、導入系統」——implement 比 do 或 use 都精準。

意思

Implement (v.) = 實施、推行、落實（一個計畫、政策、系統）。

中文「推行 / 落實」幾乎都對應 implement。它的隱含意義是「從決定到執行」——不只是想法，而是真的開始做。

自然搭配

  1. The government plans to implement a new tax policy starting next year.
  2. Many schools have implemented digital learning systems in the past five years.
  3. Without proper training, even the best policies are difficult to implement effectively.
  4. Implementing change in a large organisation requires patience and clear communication.
  5. The strategy was well-designed but poorly implemented.

幾個高頻搭配——implement a policy / system / strategy / change——背起來直接套。

學生常犯的錯

最常見錯誤——把 implement 當作 do 的萬用替換：

I implemented my homework. ← 錯（個人小事用 do / finish） The government implemented the policy. ← 對（正式、大規模的執行）

口訣：implement 後面接的應該是「政策、計畫、系統、策略」這類正式的東西。日常小事用 do / finish / carry out。

另一個錯——implement 也有名詞用法（工具、器具）：

Stone-age people used simple implements. ← 名詞（工具） They implemented a new system. ← 動詞（執行）

雅思寫作主要用動詞——但讀到名詞用法不要被嚇到。

Band 7 同義替換

避免一篇文章 implement 出現三次，輪流用：

  • introduce（語感更偏「初次引入」：introduce a new law）
  • carry out（更口語但仍然安全）

三個輪流——implement / introduce / carry out——一篇 Task 2 寫政府/組織主題時超實用。
