KET Speaking 總共 8-10 分鐘。Part 1 是考官問問題,這個台灣孩子都練過。

Part 2 的格式會讓第一次考試的孩子愣住——考官不問問題。考官給兩個學生一張圖 / 一組選項,然後說:

"Now, here are some pictures of things you can do on a school trip. Talk together about the different things you can do, and decide which one would be best for your class."

然後考官退到旁邊靜靜評分 3-5 分鐘。兩個學生必須互相討論。

這個格式在台灣英文補習班幾乎不練——孩子習慣對著老師講,突然要跟陌生同學互動,很多孩子會整個沉默、或是背好稿子自己一個人講完。

考官實際在評什麼

不是

  • 你們最後選了哪個答案(真的不重要)
  • 誰講得比較多
  • 文法完美度

  • Turn-taking:有沒有輪流?不是一個人主講。
  • Eliciting opinions:有沒有問對方意見?
  • Building on ideas:能不能接著對方的話延伸?
  • Closing the task:時間到前有沒有做一個決定?(做什麼決定不重要,有做就好)

8 個必備互動句

死背這 8 句——考場會自動蹦出來。

家裡練法:跟家人用中文討論「週末去哪玩」,規定自己每一輪都要用上面其中一句的中文版——「那你呢?」「我覺得還好耶。」「要不要考慮...?」 把互動的節奏內化。英文版考前兩週再套上去。

典型的 3 分鐘對話範例

Examiner: Talk together about these sports and decide which one your class should try.

Student A: OK, you first. Student B: I think basketball is fun. We can play it at school. What about you? Student A: I like basketball too, but it's hot in summer. Maybe swimming is better? How about you? Student B: Yes, swimming is good. But some students don't know how to swim. That's a problem. Student A: Hmm, you're right. So maybe basketball? Everyone can try. Student B: Yes, I agree. Shall we go for basketball? Student A: OK, basketball.

分析

  • 兩人講的字數差不多(不是誰主講)
  • 用了 5 個 Part 2 互動句(you first / what about you / maybe... / how about / shall we go for
  • 有意見不同但不吵架——but it's hot / yes but some students...
  • 時間到前做了決定
  • 整段不到 60 秒,但評分會很高

台灣孩子兩種最常見的失誤

失誤 1:一個人講完

太害羞的搭檔閉嘴,本來比較強的那個怕冷場就一直講。兩個人都扣分——害羞的沒展現能力,強的破壞了 collaborative。

解法(如果你是比較強的那個):每講 2 句就主動問對方What about you? / Do you agree? 就算對方只回 Yes,也夠你保住 turn-taking 的分數。

失誤 2:完全不看對方

Many Taiwanese students direct all their English at the examiner because that's how they practice at school. In Part 2, this is a killer mistake — the examiner has to grade you on collaboration, so you must look at your partner, not at the examiner.

解法:考前練習時找一個人當考官(爸媽、補習班同學),練習身體轉向搭檔。眼神要看著對方,不是考官。這個姿勢語言考官看得出來

萬一搭檔不給力怎麼辦?

這是最常被問的問題。考試抽籤配對,你可能被分到一個完全不開口的搭檔。

3 個急救技巧

  1. 問封閉式問題Do you like A or B?)而不是開放式(What do you think?)——對方更容易回答。
  2. 主動提出兩個選項I think A is good, but B is also OK. Which do you prefer?)——讓對方只要選一個就好。
  3. 最後承擔做決定OK, so shall we go for A?——就算對方沒表態,你主動收尾就不會逾時。

記住:你是跟你自己在比分。搭檔的表現不會直接扣你的分——但你有沒有努力讓對方開口會被評分。

考前兩週的練法

  • Week -2:找 3 個朋友輪流搭檔,每次 5 分鐘,用 8 個互動句。錄音。
  • Week -1:換不熟的對象(補習班別班的同學)練,模擬「搭檔不配合」的情境。
