Flyers Writing Part 7 題目簡單:
Look at the three pictures. Write the story. Write 20 words or more.
四個字的指令,20-40 字的答案——看起來怎麼會失分?
結果這一題是整份 Flyers 寫作平均分最低的題目。
評分三個維度
Cambridge 的 Flyers Part 7 rubric 看三件事:
- Content(內容):故事有沒有開頭、中間、結尾?
- Organisation(組織):有沒有用連接詞?時態一致?
- Language(語言):單字多樣、文法正確、拼字對。
滿分 5 分——每一項約佔 1.5-2 分。
最多孩子犯的錯:寫描述,不是寫故事
看這兩個答案——寫的是同樣三張圖:
(a) 描述(低分)
There is a boy. He is in the park. He has a ball. There are trees. The weather is sunny. He is happy.
字數 22——達到 20 字。但是:
- 沒有情節(plot)
- 沒有過去式
- 每一句都是 There is / He is(重複)
- 得分預測:2/5
(b) 故事(高分)
One sunny morning, Tom went to the park with his new ball. Suddenly, the ball bounced into a tree. Tom's dog jumped up and caught it!
字數 27——同樣三張圖。但:
- 有開頭(One sunny morning)
- 有問題(ball bounced into a tree)
- 有結局(dog caught it)
- 過去式全場
- 得分預測:5/5
差別不是英文程度——是策略。(a)跟(b)的單字難度幾乎一樣,但(b)知道 Part 7 要的是故事結構。
萬用句型:Someone + Wanted + But + So + And
這是我最愛的 Flyers 寫作萬用架構。不管拿到哪張圖都能套:
[Someone] [wanted to X], but [problem happened].
So [someone tried Y], and [result].
套用範例 1(男孩放風箏):
Ben wanted to fly his new kite, but there was no wind. So he ran very fast, and finally the kite went up high.
26 字、5/5 分相。
套用範例 2(女孩找貓):
Anna wanted to find her cat, but it wasn't in the house. So she looked in the garden, and she found it sleeping under a tree.
28 字、5/5 分相。
套用範例 3(家庭野餐):
The family wanted to have a picnic, but it started to rain. So they moved under a big umbrella, and they ate their sandwiches happily.
26 字、5/5 分相。
五個解鎖 B2 的連接詞
Flyers 寫作用到這五個詞的孩子——shield 立刻從 3 跳到 5:

混搭示範:
Lily wanted to bake a cake. However, she didn't have any eggs. Meanwhile, her neighbour was going to the shop. Eventually, Lily got her eggs and finished the cake.
29 字。四個進階連接詞全部出現——這在 Flyers 等級是天花板級的寫作。
家長可以在家改的檢查表
不會英文的家長也可以用中文協助孩子自檢:

時態的地雷
Flyers Part 7 必須全部過去式。最多孩子卡在這:
常見錯誤 1:時態搖擺
Tom went to the park. He is playing with the ball. He was happy.
中間冒出一個 is——扣分。正確:He was playing with the ball.
常見錯誤 2:不規則動詞錯寫
go → went✓(不是 goed)see → saw✓take → took✓eat → ate✓run → ran✓find → found✓
這六個動詞在 Flyers Part 7 出現率超過 80%。拼錯一個扣一次分。
常見錯誤 3:規則動詞漏 -ed
walked, played, jumped, looked, wanted, liked, stopped
最後兩個有變體——stop → stopped(兩個 p)、like → liked(e 變 -ed)。這兩個是台灣孩子 Part 7 最常拼錯的。
練習計畫:一週一個模式
搭配 Flyers 口試 Part 2 的六種故事模式——寫跟講可以共用故事:

重複的好處:寫過的故事拿去講——流利度會倍增。講過的故事拿去寫——拼字跟結構會更穩。
最後一個大絕——讀完再寫
Part 7 是 Flyers 寫作的最後一題。孩子考到這題通常已經寫了 40 分鐘,疲勞。
策略:寫完後一定要留 30 秒回讀。檢查:
- 每個動詞是不是過去式?
- 每個句子結尾是不是有句號?
- 字數有沒有到 20?
這 30 秒平均能多救 1 個 shield——別省。
