休閒詞彙的重點不是「深」,是具體I relax 是空話;I unwind with a crime novel on the balcony 才是 Band 7 的畫面感。

題目脈絡:Some argue that modern life has eroded people's ability to enjoy genuine leisure.

There is growing evidence that modern urban life has indeed squeezed out genuine leisure time, even as people report more nominal free hours than previous generations. Average daily screen time now exceeds six hours in most wealthy nations, and the passive consumption this entails leaves users tired rather than refreshed. The displacement is twofold: workers who struggle to switch off at weekends, and adults who no longer pursue a hobby long enough to find it gratifying. Older generations unwound through gardening, community sport, and informal family gatherings; today's equivalents have shrunk into brief bursts between notifications. Reclaiming leisure is therefore less about finding additional hours and more about protecting the ones we have — through phone-free meals, weekend commitments outside the home, and employers who genuinely respect non-working hours. Only then does downtime actually recharge rather than merely distract.
