這個句型在台灣作文裡到處都是：

❌ As we all know, education is the foundation of society.

四個字，扣三件事：

  1. 預設立場——examiner 不一定同意
  2. 沒有資訊量——後面那句話本來就要寫，前面那串廢話
  3. 中式英文——native speaker 不這樣開句

Lexical Resource 從 7 掉 6。Task Response 也跟著掉。

為什麼它聽起來像中文

中文「眾所周知」是書面常用語——它的功能是訴諸共識。但英文寫作（尤其學術 / IELTS）不訴諸共識——訴諸證據或論點。

「As we all know」=「我懶得證明這件事」。批改員看到 = 扣分。

很簡單——直接陳述事實，讓事實本身的權威性發聲：
