I get up at 7. I eat breakfast. I go to work. I come home. I sleep at 11.

  • 假裝自己作息超級規律——I get up at 6 every day——講不下去就崩潰。

Q1. What does your typical day look like?

It varies depending on whether I'm working from home or going into the office, but the general shape is fairly consistent — alarm around 7:30, slow start with coffee and the news, then the working part of the day from about 9 to 6. Evenings are flexible: gym one day, cooking the next, sometimes meeting a friend. I try to be in bed by 11, although that's a goal more than a reality.

Q2. Do you follow the same routine every day?

Roughly, yeah — the structure is similar Monday to Friday, but I deliberately keep weekends loose to avoid feeling like life has become entirely routine. The non-negotiable bits are coffee in the morning and a wind-down hour before bed; everything else flexes around those two anchors.

Q3. Is your routine different from when you were a student?

Massively. As a student my whole day was dictated by class timetables, which weirdly made it easier — I just showed up where the schedule said. Now I have to design my own day, which sounds liberating but actually requires more discipline. I also sleep more now, ironically; the all-nighters of university are a bit of a horror story.

Q4. Do you think it's important to have a routine?

Genuinely yes, although I'd add a caveat — too rigid a routine can become a cage. The version I value is "loose structure": same wake time, same wind-down hour, same weekly anchors like exercise. Inside that, I want flexibility. Without any routine I drift; with too much, I get bored. The balance is the actual skill.

Q5. What part of your daily routine do you enjoy most?

The first hour, hands down — I'm not someone who jumps out of bed, but the slow stretch with a coffee, before any meeting or message demands my attention, is the part of the day that feels genuinely mine. The rest of the day belongs to work; that one hour belongs to me.

Band 6 vs Band 7+ 對照

題目:Do you follow the same routine every day?

Band 6: Yes, I follow the same routine every day. I wake up at 7. I go to work at 9. I come home at 6. I sleep at 11.

Band 7+: Roughly, yeah — the structure is similar Monday to Friday, but I deliberately keep weekends loose to avoid feeling like life has become entirely routine. The non-negotiable bits are coffee in the morning and a wind-down hour before bed; everything else flexes around those two anchors.

7 wake up, 8 eat, 9 work, 11 sleep——這是 Band 5。換成 the general shape is...the non-negotiable bits are...
Is it the same at weekends?
I always get up at 6 and exercise for one hour.——不可信。 承認 bed by 11 is a goal more than a reality 反而加分。
