¹ The two maps depict how Westford University's main campus was redeveloped over the twenty-five years between 2000 and 2025.

² Overall, the campus evolved from a purely academic site into a much larger and more self-contained student community, with new sporting, research and social facilities added, and vehicles pushed to the periphery.

³ The most substantial construction took place to the west of the central square, where the original woodland was cleared to make way for a sizeable sports complex with an adjacent gym. To the east, the existing science block was retained but supplemented by new research laboratories, effectively doubling the campus's research footprint.

The small cafeteria on the south side was converted into a full student union, giving the campus a dedicated social hub for the first time. The main library was preserved and extended northwards, while the arts building remained unchanged. Finally, the student car park was relocated outside the southern entrance, and a large fountain was installed at the centre of the square.
